The wedding industry is constantly evolving, and it can be so difficult to keep up. That’s why I’ve put some of the top wedding trends in one article for you! So if you’re currently planning a wedding, keep reading! These five trends are things I’m seeing more and more as the 2022 season comes to a close… sooo I’m anticipating seeing way more of these come 2023!!
OUTFIT CHANGES
… and not just the bride either! Gents, grab yourself that colorful velvet sport coat that you’re not allowed to wear down the aisle and throw it on during the dancing portion of your evening! This is the perfect way to express yourself and feel comfortable and relaxed. Weddings can be a lot, you deserve to enjoy the reception! Ladies, go ahead and swap the long, elegant dress for a fun, flirty party get up so you can truly dance your heart out unhindered till the end of the night! This is perfect for comfort, will keep your wedding dress clean, will add some diversity to your photos, and (my favorite) will allow you to flaunt your STUNNING wedding shoes!!
DISCO BALLS
Need I say more? This is SO FUN. Whether you’re actually hanging them from the ceiling, incorporating them into a floral installment, or having them on the ground or on tables for decoration- I’m here for it
ALTERNATIVE SHOES
So it seems that we’re ditching the heels, gals! These days I’m seeing a lot of: Chacos, Birkenstocks, slides, and chunky sneakers! Sometimes these are worn for the entirety of the day, other times they’re changed into. To each their own 
SEATING CHART WALL DISPLAY
There are so many unique, beautiful ways to display your seating chart. From floral walls and bookshelves to champagne walls and shot walls, the possibilities are endless! I just added a new pinterest board with all sorts of statement piece ideas! Check it out here!
AND FINALLY…
Ditching the receiving line for bride & groom attending cocktail hour or taking off on a party bus with their wedding party altogether! There’s no rule saying you do or don’t have to be present at cocktail hour. It’s just an hour! You get to choose what you do with it.
