Planning a wedding is no easy feat, and of course you want it to be absolutely perfect! From finding the right venue to selecting the perfect wedding dress, there are countless decisions that need to be made. Including hiring the right vendor for each aspect of your wedding. One of the MOST important decisions you will make during your wedding planning process is selecting the right wedding vendors. 

However, finding the right vendors can be HARD. You don’t know who to trust and you might not even be sure of exactly what you’re looking for. AND on top of all that you’re not getting quick responses. 

That’s where I come in! As an experienced wedding planner, I’ve worked with hundreds of different wedding vendors that have varied from being absolutely AMAZING to total nightmares. 

Want to know the easiest way to tell if a vendor will be good to work with or not?

Communication. 

Yup! When it comes to finding wedding vendors, pay attention to their communication skills (or lack thereof!). Communication is key, and you want to work with vendors who respond to your inquiries in a timely manner. After all, you don’t want to be left waiting for weeks on end for a response from a vendor.

If a vendor takes more than a week to respond to your inquiry, you probably don’t want to work with them! Yes, there may be times when vendors are busy and can’t respond right away. But there is no reasonable excuse for taking more than a week to respond. In today’s world, there are plenty of tools and systems in place that make it easy for vendors to communicate with their clients. So, if a vendor is taking an unreasonably long time to respond to you, this is a red flag.

When you’re planning your wedding, you want to work with vendors who are reliable, professional, and responsive. You want to feel confident that they will be there for you when you need them, and that they will make your wedding day as special as possible. By choosing vendors who value your time and respond to your inquiries in a timely manner, you’ll be one step closer to creating the wedding of your dreams.

Communication is KEY. So, don’t wait too long for a response from a wedding vendor! 

If a vendor is taking more than a week to respond to your inquiry, it’s time to move on and find a vendor who values your time. 

After all, your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and you want to work with vendors who will make it as magical and stress-free as possible.
